Alan Lockett (Executive Chairman)
Alan is the former Managing Director of Olympia Resources Limited, a company he founded in 1997 and listed on the ASX (OLY) in late 2004. Olympia Resources Limited is an emerging producer of mineral sands and industrial garnet.
Alan has significant experience in locating mineral reserves, securing the required capital and setting up the infrastructure to have the resources commercially mined. He has been involved in the listing of mining companies and has been heavily involved in the resource sector for many years.
As a result of his exposure to the resource sector, Alan has developed many contacts within both the mining and project finance industries.
Alan is a major shareholder of Northern Mining and offers his project finance skills, strategic planning and general corporate experience to the Board.
Adrian Black (Non-Executive Director)
Adrian is a Principal of Newexco Services Pty Ltd and a Mining and Exploration Geologist with over 30 years experience in the minerals industry. He graduated from Leicester University with a Mining Geology B.Sc. and later completed a part-time MBA. He succussfully lead the small mine exploration team that discovered the new southwest extension to the Tara underground mine in Ireland, adding in excess of 10 years mine life to Tara.
In 1999 he formed the service company Newexco with Bill Amman. During 2003 and 2004 they were rewarded with the discovery of the T1 and T5 nickel sulphide deposits at Flying Fox for Western Areas in the WA Forrestania Greenstone Belt. The T1 deposit is currently being mined by Western Areas NL.
Another major high grade nickel deposit "Spotted Quoll" was discovered by Newexco in 2007; the resource currently stands at over 2,000,000 tonnes at 6.2% Ni and is the subject of an advanced feasibility study.
Adrian and the Newexco team have played a strategic roll in the management of exploration programmes at the Company's East Kalgoorlie Project in Western Australia.
Rae Townsend-Hick (Non-Executive Director)
Rae has over 22 years experience in executive support and office management in the mining and exploration industries. The position of Office Manager and Executive Assistant to the Chairman of Northern Mining Limited was offered to her in December 2006. Following recent changes to the Board structure, Rae was appointed director on 9 September 2009, to fill a casual vacancy.

Newexco Services Limited (Consulting Geologists)
Specialists in exploration services and project management. The company has an excellent track record in discovering nickel sulphides in the Yilgarn region of Western Australia and specialises in the management of grass roots and advanced projects (for sulphide nickel, zinc-lead, copper-zinc and gold) as well as EM techniques, GIS, continental, regional and local target generation; data compilation through to focused exploration and drill target testing. Newexco has extensive capabilities in geophysics, geology, computing and software.
CSA Global (Consulting Geologists)
CSA Global has particular expertise in project management and development from project generation, exploration, pre-feasibility studies to final feasibility studies, construction and production. CSA regularly completes Independent Expert’s and Competent Person’s Reports, and operates under the relevant institutionalised codes governing these activities.
Ross Kestel (Company Secretary) B.Bus (Acctg), CA, FCPA
Ross is a Chartered Accountant and Certified Practising Accountant and a Director of the accounting practice Nissen Kestel Harford. He has acted as a Director and Company Secretary of a number of public companies involved in mineral exploration, mining, mine services property development, manufacturing and technology industries.
